Lone Star Title operates lonestartitleco.com. This policy explains what information this website collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it.
This policy covers the website only. It does not cover the separate information we collect and handle when you open an escrow or close a transaction with us.
Information you give us. This website has no contact form. If you email us or call a number listed on the site, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, your email address or phone number, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It collects your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and how long you spend on them. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded and none of this is collected. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them using the banner shown on your first visit. Decline and no analytics cookies are set. We set no other cookies of our own, and the site works the same either way. Your choice is stored in your browser.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

The site also links out to services we do not control. Selecting Deposit Earnest Money takes you to CertifID, and selecting Get Directions takes you to Google Maps. Those services handle your information under their own policies once you arrive. Nothing is sent to them while you are simply reading this site.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Email enquiries sent to us through addresses listed on this site are kept for 24 months. The visit and event data behind our Google Analytics reports is retained for 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically. Aggregate totals, which identify nobody, stay in the reports.
